This is a beautiful, vintage, french, medal by renowned engraver L Tricard.

NOTE:  I don't see a distinctive french silver hallmark although this medal does look like silver to me.

SIGNED Tricard.  Dated 1915.

NOTE:  This medal is shiner than most medals by Tricard and has a more "worn" look to it.  The jump ring is soldered. 

Larger size medal - The medal measures about 1 1/8" in length including its loop (but not including the attach ring).
