This is a wonderful and large, antique french, silver and mother of pearl crucifix. It has the french silver hallmark which indicates a silver content of at least 800 or 80% silver.
It measures just under 2 7/8 inches in height including its loop (but not including the attach ring).
These type crucifixes were often given as First Communion gifts.
