Vintage Gilded Gold Leaf Earrings with a Rhinestone

These are sweet gilded leaf earrings with a rhinestone. (I found them at a local vintage market. The earrings had belonged to the seller's grandmother).

Base metal unknown.

The earrings measure about 5/8" in length.

They are gilded but I don't know what the metal is. Is looks like some of the gold finish worn on the ear wires.

(There is a loop on the top of each earring. You could even remove the ear wire and make into a pendant).

NOTE:  I will send them in the box them came in; however, I don't know if it is the original box for them.
