Antique 1903 French Silver Virgin Mary Medal

This is a very beautiful, antique (dated 1903) french silver medal of the Virgin Mary, which looks like Our Lady of Sorrows.

The silver hallmark is on the loop which indicates a silver content of at least 800 or 80% silver.

It measures between 3/4" and 7/8" in length including its loop (but not including the attach ring)., or about 11/16" in diameter.

NOTE:  I have had a similar one once before and that one too had a flat nose on Mary.  I am not quite sure if that is from devotion and/or just the design.
