French Silver Faith Hope and Charity Locket Necklace

This is such a special silver locket.  It is from the late 1800s.   (This is the third one I have found).

SMALL size locket - Measures between 5/8" and 3/4" in length including its loop (but not including the attach ring).

NOTE:  I THINK THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A TINY CRUCIFIX INSIDE AT ONE TIME (SIMILAR TO THE ONES I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST) AS THERE IS WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE REMNANTS OF SOME TYPE OF ADHESIVE.  I THINK THE BLUE INSIDE IS PAINTED.

I have placed the locket on a new, oxidized sterling silver 4-sided foxtail/wheat chain which measures about 18" in length.

Truly an heirloom and tiny treasure!!!
