This is a lovely, vintage, french silver Madonna and Child medal.  The medal has the french silver hallmark indicating a silver content of at least 800 or 80% silver.  I

The medal is a smaller size and measures close to 3/4" in length including its loop (but not including its attach ring).

I think the attach ring on the medal might be gold.

The chain is vintage, french silver.  I have added little white pearls and the necklace  measures about 19 inches in length.  

NOTE:  The medal cannot be removed from the chain because of the added pearls.  The pearls line up similar to what is shown in the photo.

Comes in a gift box.
